League competitions
Most of the leagues that we take part in also schedule competitions, which our bowling members are entitled to take part in. Some of these competitions require entry as a club, some as teams from the club and some require individual entries. Whilst some of these competitions are played all on one day, some are played throughout the bowling season. Hopefully the information below will help you decide on which competitions you would like to enter.
CTBL
Pairs, Triples & Fours
Decide which (or all) of these competitions you wish to enter, organise your team and add it to the entry form that you will find on the noticeboard.
Entries cost £1 per player, per competition.
These competitions are played throughout the season on a knockout basis.
TVBL
Singles, Pairs, Triples & Fours
Decide which (or all) of these competitions you wish to enter, organise your team and add it to the entry form that you will find on the noticeboard.
Entries cost £2 per player, per competition.
These competitions are played on set dates in June, with a Finals Day at the beginning of September.
CTBL
Stuart Waites Triples
Played here at Stockton Bowling Club. This year's contest will take place on Sunday 31st May, starting at 10:30am.
Entries cost £1 per player. See the notice board for the entry form.
This is a one-day competition.
CTBL
Rinks Tournament
Another one-day competition, this is played at Elm Tree on the 9th August, commencing at 10:30am.
Although this is a 'fours' competition, teams of five bowlers are allowed and can rotate at the end of each game.
Entries cost £1 per player.
CTBL
Woodroffe Cup
This competition is played throughout the season.
There is no entry form, as this is played at club level, meaning that the team is selected by the team captains of our Wednesday & Thursday league teams.
There is no charge for playing, if you are selected.
